What we do for your Tesla
Paint protection film
Tesla paint is widely reported as thin and quick to chip, so most owners start with the front end: bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. Full-body film is the step up.
Window tint
The Model 3 and Model Y have a large glass roof. Ceramic film on the roof glass cuts the heat that comes through it, and the side and rear glass follow California's limits.
Ceramic coating
A ceramic coating keeps the gloss and makes washing quicker, on bare paint or over the film.
Wraps
Panel gaps vary from car to car, so we plan every edge and tuck panel by panel before a colour change.
Good to know
- The Cybertruck's body is bare stainless steel, not paint, so its film and coatings are chosen differently.
- Cameras and parking sensors sit in the bumpers and pillars. Film is cut around every lens and sensor.
Questions owners ask
- Is window tint legal on my Tesla in California?
- Yes, within limits. The front side windows must still let in at least 70% of the light with the film on, and only the top 4 inches of the windshield can be tinted. The back side and rear glass can go darker. We fit film that keeps the car legal.
- Should I put paint protection film on a new Tesla?
- Many owners protect the front end first, since that is where stone chips land. If you want the whole car covered, full-body film is the next step. It goes on best before the paint has picked up chips.
- Can you wrap my Tesla in a new colour?
- Yes. A wrap changes the colour without touching the paint and can be removed later. We look at the panels and gaps first and walk you through the finishes.
