Effective · Version 0.1
Our aim
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the international guidelines for accessible websites. This page says what we have tested so far and what we have not.
How we tested
On October 21, 2026 we tested every page of this website, the quote form, the chat and the Call us window:
- Automated checks with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules, in Safari's engine at desktop and iPhone sizes, at the top of each page and after scrolling through it. Every check passed after the fixes below.
- A keyboard-only pass in Chrome's engine: the skip link comes first and lands on the content, every control can be reached with Tab, focus is visible at each stop and is never hidden under the header, and Escape closes the chat and the Call us window and returns focus.
- A review of the structure that screen readers read: one main heading per page, no skipped heading levels, the page landmarks, and a name on every link, button, image and form field.
- Reduced motion: with reduce motion on, no film plays by itself and the home page film waits on its play button.
What we fixed
The tests found and we fixed: words in one animated line that screen readers heard twice and that were too faint before they lit up, two comparison sliders with the same name, folders on the Our work page without a clear focus outline, focus that was lost after closing the chat on a phone, and looping films without a pause button.
What we do
On this website:
- Every film that plays by itself has a pause button.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, films don't play by themselves and scroll animations show a finished still.
- If your device or browser asks to save data, films stay on their still frame until you press play.
- Images have text alternatives, and each film has a short description for screen readers.
- Text passes the automated contrast checks, and buttons meet the minimum target size.
- There is no accessibility overlay or widget.
What we have not tested yet
A person has not yet gone through the website with VoiceOver, NVDA or another screen reader, and it has not yet been tested by people with disabilities. We have not tested Firefox, Android or Windows high contrast mode. We will add each result here when it is done.
Known limitations
In Safari on a Mac, the Tab key moves between links only when “Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage” is on in Safari's settings; otherwise Option-Tab does it. This is how Safari works on every website.
Two sections respond to scrolling: the door film at the top of Services and the film that opens on the home page. With reduce motion on, both show a finished still instead.
