- Cameras and sensors sit around the front light bar and the bumpers. Film is cut around them.
- Off-road use chips the lower body first. Film there is worth considering before the first trail.
Questions owners ask
- Is window tint legal on my Rivian in California?
- Yes, within limits. The front side windows must still let in at least 70% of the light with the film on, and only the top 4 inches of the windshield can be tinted. The back side and rear glass can go darker. We fit film that keeps the car legal.
- Is film worth it if I go off-road?
- Film on the front end and lower panels takes the stones and branches that would otherwise chip the paint, and it can be replaced on its own.
- Do you coat the paint as well?
- Yes. A ceramic coating on the paint or over the film makes it easier to wash dust and mud off.
