What we do for your Mercedes-Benz
Paint protection film
AMG front ends and the G-Class's upright front take the most chips. The G-Class's flat panels also suit full-body film.
Window tint
Many models have a panoramic roof. Ceramic film on the roof glass cuts the heat, and the side glass follows California's limits.
Ceramic coating
A ceramic coating keeps the gloss and makes washing easier. Matte magno paints need products made for matte.
Wraps
The G-Class's flat, upright panels suit a colour-change wrap, and the original paint stays protected underneath.
Good to know
- Mercedes calls its matte finishes MANUFAKTUR magno (formerly designo magno). Matte can't be polished out if it is scratched, so protection comes first.
- Parking sensors and the front radar sit in the bumper and grille. Film is cut around them.
Questions owners ask
- Is window tint legal on my Mercedes-Benz in California?
- Yes, within limits. The front side windows must still let in at least 70% of the light with the film on, and only the top 4 inches of the windshield can be tinted. The back side and rear glass can go darker. We fit film that keeps the car legal.
- Can you protect a G-Class's paint?
- Yes. Front-end film covers where the stones land; full-body film covers the whole car, which its flat panels make straightforward.
- Is matte magno paint harder to look after?
- It needs different care: no polishing and no wax. A satin paint protection film or a coating made for matte keeps the finish as the factory made it.
