- Honda Sensing's camera sits behind the windshield and its radar in the front on many models. Film and tint stay clear of both.
- The Civic Type R's vents, wings and spoiler are part of the look. Film is wrapped around their edges, not just stopped short.
Questions owners ask
- Is window tint legal on my Honda in California?
- Yes, within limits. The front side windows must still let in at least 70% of the light with the film on, and only the top 4 inches of the windshield can be tinted. The back side and rear glass can go darker. We fit film that keeps the car legal.
- Is film worth it on a daily driver?
- On a car that sees freeway miles every day, film on the bumper, hood and mirrors takes the chips the paint would otherwise collect, and it comes off cleanly when you sell.
- Can you black out the trim or the roof?
- Yes. Chrome and roof panels can be wrapped gloss or satin black, and the original finish stays underneath.
