What we do for your BMW
Paint protection film
On M cars the wide front intakes, splitter and hood take most of the stones, so front-end or full-front coverage is the usual start.
Window tint
Many X models leave the factory with darker privacy glass at the back. We match the film to it and keep the front side windows within California's limits.
Ceramic coating
Gloss paints get a ceramic coating for gloss and easy washing. BMW's matte Frozen paints need a coating made for matte, so they stay flat.
Wraps
Satin and matte wraps change the look without the factory paint option, and the paint underneath stays as it was.
Good to know
- BMW's Frozen paints are matte: they can't be polished or machine waxed. Satin paint protection film keeps the matte look while it protects.
- Front radar and parking sensors sit behind the grille and bumper on most models. Film is cut around them.
Questions owners ask
- Is window tint legal on my BMW in California?
- Yes, within limits. The front side windows must still let in at least 70% of the light with the film on, and only the top 4 inches of the windshield can be tinted. The back side and rear glass can go darker. We fit film that keeps the car legal.
- Can you protect matte Frozen paint?
- Yes. Matte paint can't be polished, so the safe options are a satin paint protection film, which keeps the matte finish, or a coating made for matte paint.
- Do you work on M cars?
- Yes. Film, tint, coatings, wraps and wheels work the same way on M cars. The front intakes and splitters get extra care, since they take the most stones.
